Director of KG Sports Foundation has attributed his side 2-1 lose to Goshen FC of Bayelsa in the ongoing Delta Tour to lack of ability to manage game in crucial moments..
KG Sports Academy Took the lead in the opening 8 minute of the game after gangling Big Do fired into the bottom corner. KG Sports Dominated the first half but couldn’t create much chances except for Wisdom Rogers shot from long range which was saved.
Goshen FC were looking to end a run of three defeats after going down 3-2 and 5-1 to Excellent FC and Ayuma FC Respectively in previous Games of the Tour.
KG Sports On Monday saw their match cancelled due to heavy Down pour against Flying Rangers who were 1-0 up before the referee called of the game.
The Pride of Agbor took the slim lead into the break and after the interval, Goshen seized initiative and piled pressure on the defense of KG Sports.
Center Back Joseph Egede hurt his back and forced a substitution. Before KG Sports could make a Tactical adjustment, Goshen capitalised on it and level scores inside the 80th minute.
Buoyed by the goal, Goshen pushed forward looking for the winner and they got it after KG Sports Defense was caught out of position in their search for goal.
KG Sports came out to find the leveler but was too little too late as Goshen Ran away with the 2-1 victory.
“We Failed to manage the game well in crucial moments’ l told my boys to remain focused despite the 1-0 first half lead but unfortunately they were eager to score more goals than to defend their lead and in the end they paid dearly for it” Director Ken Gadaffi stated after the match
“It’s a good lesson for the young players to learn and hopefully they will bounce back against Flying Rangers in the next game” He Enthused.
KG Sports Academy will take on Flying Rangers on Wednesday 7am at Ogor Technical College while Goshen will face off Ughelli United at same time at Ughelli Stadium
