Super Eagles captain and Al-Nassr’s forward, Ahmed Musa has rubbished claims of alleged COVID-19 rumours as he claims he’s hale and hearty revealing his bitterness over people who uses such means to gain clout for themselves.
In bid to quench such false story, Musa posted a picture of him and his family in a private plane and Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu with a captioned statement, “It has come to my notice that certain individuals have decided to post about me testing positive to Covid 19”.
“This is a pandemic taking peoples lives in thousands so it is sad that some people want to use this to gain followers or views on their pages by spreading falsehood not because any of us have the virus”.
“We are perfectly okay and have not tested positive to the virus. Please don’t fall for the malicious messages circulating about me or my family”, he assured.
The former Leceister left winger became the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match, after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
