Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia striker, Ahmed Musa opted for a different like of thought into the New Year, as the Super Eagles’ assistant captain put his focus on the fight against drugs abuse.
While several other football stars and icons at home and abroad spent time keeping the spotlight on yuletide messages, sports247.ng reports that Musa opted instead to issue a social message.
The ex-Kano Pillars, VV Van Venlo of Holland, CSKA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England star took to social media to reveal his thoughts into January 2019, and disclosed that it is all about keeping Nigeria’s teeming youths away from notorious drugs.
The fleet-footed star, who is Nigeria’s all-time highest goals scorer at the World Cup, with two against Argentina at Brazil 2014 and another two versus Iceland at Russia 2018, called on everyone to join the fight.
Musa stated: “Let fight this together,& say no to Drugs.#NOTODRUGS.”
