Levante of Spain winger, Moses Simon has received a tacit deadline for him to learn Spanish, as his club’s coach, Paco Lopez says he is finding it difficult to communicate with the player.
Aside not being able to get direct contact with the coach, sports247.ng also learnt that Simon has not been able to relate with his teammates, such that he is still struggling to settle among the lads.
The development has led to limited playing time for the former SK Trencin of Slovakia and KAA Gent of Belgium dazzler, as he has still not found his range in the team after overcoming an initial injury setback.
Latest news out of Levante now has it that Simon has a charge to learn the language quickly in order to make himself useful and effective to the team, which would be reflected in regular playing time.
The 23-year-old Simon, who has been invited to the Super Eagles’ camp to battle South Africa next month, has played a combined 49 minutes in three games with a goal to his name since arriving in the summer.
Lopez, though, also noted that facing the same obstacle with Simon is Ghanaian attacker, Raphael Dwamena, and the gaffer has now advised them to start extra language classes to hasten their grasp of Spanish.
In an effort to show that he is ready to fall in line, Simon responded to the coach’s challenge by buying a book on the basics of the language.
