Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses has confessed that he is not yet at his best with his new club, as he admitted not getting match time with his parent team, Chelsea, made him redundant and rusty.
Despite scoring his second goal in the Turkish Super Lig last weekend, less than two months since joining Fernebahce in January, Moses says he is yet to get back to his best form and wants to keep improving.
Sports247.ng reports that Moses hit target with a 84th minute penalty, to give Ferne a 3-2 win over visiting Rizespor, who had three Nigerians in their squad, as Chidozie Awaziem, Azubuike Okechukwu and Aminu Umar all started at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
The former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic star, who has previously spent tim eon loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United, said: ”I didn’t get much playing time at Chelsea.
“I came here to play. Our manager gives me this opportunity. I am not yet 100 percent ready, but every match is an advantage for me.
”I will definitely be 100 percent ready. I’m trying to enjoy my football. I play on the right and left. I want to help the team … to go higher.”
