The management of Bendel Insurance FC has addressed recent rumors circulating regarding Coach Monday Odigie’s position within the club.
Contrary to speculations, Coach Odigie remains firmly in his role as Head Coach and Technical Director of Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin and has not resigned or left the club.

This clarification comes in response to unfounded rumors and misleading reports on various social media platforms regarding Odigie’s status with the team.
The management, led by Olympian Yusuf Alli, deemed it necessary to set the record straight to prevent any further misinformation.
Coach Odigie’s ongoing communication with the Insurance management, as confirmed by Alli and club Secretary Charles Ihimekpen, underscores his continued commitment to the team.
While Odigie had urgent personal matters to attend to immediately after the team’s return from Jos, Plateau state, he remains in close contact with the club officials.
During Odigie’s brief absence, Assistant Coach Greg Ikhenoba assumed temporary charge of the technical crew.
Under Ikhenoba’s guidance, Bendel Insurance secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Gombe United, dispelling rumors of discord within the coaching staff.
Chairman Yusuf Alli commended the team for their dedication and outstanding performance in their recent match.
