It was jubilation galore on Thursday afternoon as Executive Chairman of Kwara Sports Commission Mallam Bola Mogaji alongside former Commissioner for information/Sports Hameed Adio visited Kwara United at their training ground.
Dogo and his soldiers resumed training on Monday as plan for next season’s campaign in the NPFL begins with Kwara United admonished to go for honours and prestige.

While speaking at their training ground at the University of Ilorin Secondary School pitch, Mallam Bola Mogaji enjoined the management and coaching crew to parade the best legs that will make Kwarans happy in the imminent NPFL term.
The number one Sports man in Kwara State also frowned at Kwara United finishing 13th on the log last season, but he however charged the players to work hard and finish among the top three in the 2024/25 NPFL season.
“It’s my pleasure to be here to give you support because this team belongs to all of us and I want to pray for you the players that none of you will sustain injury in the coming season.
“We finished 13th on the table last season, it was not good for us, but you all have to work hard next season and show more dedication and by the Grace of God, we will play Continental again,” Mogaji said.
Responding on behalf of the players and coaching crew, Kwara United Chairman Kumbi Titiloye thanked the Sports Commission Executive Chairman and promised that his wards will do well in next term’s NPFL.
Meanwhile, Kwara United are expected to round off their ongoing recruitment exercise and then travel to Ikenne for this year’s Value Jet Preseason tournament.
