In a match of little or no high impact, both sides showed intentions to win the game and MKA FC came out tops.
Coach Timothy of MKA FC was quick to praise the efforts of his team and his opponents, stating that they are a good side with huge potentials.
He however said he wasn’t entirely impressed with the performance of his lads. “I wouldn’t say they played to my expectations. There were some mistakes that we have to go back to the board to correct. Their best was not good enough, when we train more we’ll get there,” he said.
Buruj FC, though still an academy side, will be playing in the NLO in the coming season and Coach Timothy has acknowledged they have what it takes. “I see a future in Buruj football academy if they focus and concentrate on their talent,” coach Timothy said.
Quizzed about the plans of MKA in terms of competitions, the coach of MKA informed our reporter that there’s no play for any tournament yet as most of their players will be traveling to different clubs soon. He made mention of the fact that some of their boys already moved to clubs overseas, two in Latvia, one in Turkey, one in Egypt and they look to have more players move to better clubs abroad.
