Tianjin Teda of China midfielder, John Mikel Obi has declared delight with a visit he paid to his parents at their country home in Nigeria with his wife, Olga Diyachenko, along with their twin daughters, Mia and Ava.
Sports247.ng reports that, though the Super Eagles’ captain recently missed the Nigerian national team’s last four matches in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Mikel will not shy away from showing off his home.
Consequently, the former Lyn Oslo of Norway and Chelsea of England star gladly took Olga and the twins to visit his parents in Jos, where they got a warm reception from his family, siblings and friends.
Mikel took to social media to reveal his thoughts about the visit, stating: “Family #grandma #gradpa #cousins #Mimi #Ava.”
Olga added that she and the kids were well received and promised to get a better outing next time out, as she confessed she was left behind in the art of spraying money and dancing the Nigerian way.
The Russian beauty stated: “What an amazing day! Thank you for such a warm welcome to all 26 Obis.
“Next time, we’ll bring some moves too. Although hard to compete, I was not aware of the spraying tradition in Nigeria.”
