Mighty wonderers of Abraka opens their campaign in the Doris Nwadiolu memorial Cup Group B fixtures today at the Agbor TownShip Stadium against Delta Milan FC of Agbor.
This will be Mighty Wonderers first match in the on going tournament while Delta milan will be looking for the win to seal their place in the Semi Finals after one win and one lose in their previous games against Winners FC and Ultimate Stars respectively.
In other group B Match, Winners FC will be looking to salvage their campaign when they face off high flying Ultimate Stars. WInners suffered a 2-0 shocking defeat in their opening match against Delta Milan on Wednesday while Ultimate whitewashed Same Delta Milan 4-0 on thursday. A win for Ultimate will see them through to the Semi finals with a game in hand while a defeat for winners will see them technically knocked out of the tournament.
In Group A, Soccer Stars revived their tournament hopes with a 2-0 win over Sharp Strikers on thursday and will now face Green Rangers in the final game of Day 3. Green Rangers are with one point from their 1-1 draw against Sharp Strikers and will be looking to get all three points to brighten their qualification chances.
The battle for the top 2 in both groups remains open as every team still have a chance to progress to the semi finals.
