Mighty Jets Int’l FC Players Granted Week-Long Rest

The management and coaching team of Mighty Jets Int’l FC have announced a week-long break for the players, effective immediately.

This follows the team’s hard-earned 1-0 victory against Zamfara United at the new Jos Stadium. The break is intended to give players an opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend valuable time with their families.

Training is set to resume on Monday, February 3, 2025, as preparations for their next match will begin in earnest.

Mighty Jets International FC, based in Jos, Nigeria, is a professional football club competing in the Nigeria National League.

Established in 1970, the club has a storied history, including being the inaugural winners of the Nigerian Premier League in 1972.

They play their home matches at the Jos International Stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 spectators.

Throughout their history, the Jets have been notable for their resilience and contributions to Nigerian football.

Despite facing challenges, including relegations and promotions, the club has remained a significant presence in the nation’s football scene.

In recent years, under the leadership of Chairman Mbum Ferdinand, appointed in July 2023, the club has been focusing on rebuilding and aiming for promotion to the Nigeria Premier League.

The recent victory against Zamfara United is a testament to the team’s dedication and hard work.

The club appreciates the players’ dedication and believes that the upcoming break will provide them with the necessary rest to continue their pursuit of excellence in the league, enabling them to return rejuvenated and focused, ready to face future challenges.
