The free scoring striker penned an emotional farewell message to his fans in the Vietnamese V-league via his Twitter handle as he gets set to team up with Israeli giant Hapoel Tel Aviv.
“My sincere gratitude to Mr.Nguyen Duc Thang and his technical crew because they were the main reason I played at the club. They always believed in my ability and their words of encouragement has really transformed me to a better player which I am today,” Olaha Michael said.
“I wouldn’t fail to thank the fans for always supporting and encouraging me even when I was not at my very best. They stood with me and showed a great solidarity with their text messages and tweets.
“Special thanks to my teammates who loved me from the very first day I joined this great club and never made me feel like a foreigner in their midst.
“Special thanks to ManhKalou who taught me how to ride a motorbike, I appreciate them all even the ones I forgot to mention here because it’s a very long list.
Big shout out to phison because dude helped me find my rhythm when i was a total stranger in Vietnam, he was always there for me and i wish him the very best in his career.
Olaha scored a total of 24 goals in all competitions. He was an integral member of the squad that won the Vietnamese League Cup in 2018.
