Promising winger Michael Ipaye has signed a two-year deal to join Vandrezzer FC ahead of the 2021 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign.
Ipaye joins the Lions of Naija from Joy Cometh FC, having impressed coach Rafael Everton during our pre-season campaign.
Born in Ogun State, Ipaye is an exciting winger known for his composure on the ball and silky smooth dribbling.
He’s also very quick, direct, can create space with one movement, and is capable of producing match-winning moments.
The 20-year-old, who has been with Joy Cometh FC for the last couple of seasons is considered one of the brightest prospects in the NNL.
Ipaye’s goals and assists stats speak for themselves, having registered 50 goals and 31 assists in his last 120 club appearances and was part of the Joy Cometh FC squad that gained promotion to the Nigeria National League in 2019.
On joining Vandrezzer FC, the former Remo Feeders player stated: “I was delighted when I heard that Vandrezzer FC wanted to sign me”.
“The administrators in the team are very good and I’m happy working with them all.”
