Akachukwu’s story begins in 2018 when a football accident in Imo State cost him his leg on the 16th of December. Undeterred by the setback, his unwavering passion for the game spurred him forward.
Joining the Amputee football team became a turning point for Akachukwu. He recounts, “I came for trials, I passed my trials and I made my way into the Nigeria national team where I play presently. All I’m trying to say here is that you never know how strong you are until being strong becomes the last option.”
