MFM striker Adeniji Kabiru believes that his team will secure a win this weekend against Rivers United in a match day 17 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The striker, who has four goals this season is confident that they will overcome the Garden City team on Sunday.
“We will get a good result on Sunday, I am very sure of that,” Adeniji said.
“We are not happy with the draw against Enyimba and Lobi Stars but that is in the past now, the game against Rivers United is a must-win and by God’s grace we will come out tops.
“If you look at the table, you will see that it is a tight race for the playoff spot so we know we cannot afford to drop points at home again.”
The match is a must win for the Olukoya Boys who are without a victory in the last five games – losing to Insurance, Kwara United and Rangers, while sharing the spoils at home to Enyimba and Lobi Stars.
MFM are placed third in Group A of the NPFL table, with 24 points from 16 games.
