After the first successful session of the AIPS digital seminar, “The Cost of Reporting while Female” – UNDERREPRESENTATION – AIPS is proud to announce the names of the panelists that will take the stage, connected via Zoom.us, on July 23 for the second appointment.
THE FORGOTTEN COVID19 has put world’s sport in disarray. When professional activity was about to resume all over the world, women athletes were put on hold and – is some case – totally neglected. Along with the athletes a number of female reporters now have little or no space in the media as a result of the pandemic.
Some of the most important sports journalists and international experts, each coming from different backgrounds, have been invited to share their in-depth insight and understanding of this issue, “the forgotten”.
The panel discussion will immediately be followed by an open discussion, where participants can share their experiences and ask questions. The AIPS seminar is open to all journalists regardless of gender. Click here to register for the event.
This session will be held in English with simultaneous interpretations in Arabic, French and Spanish, which will be accessible from the smartphone by downloading the app “Interprefy”.
