Mees Palace Football Academy Set To Defend Jos Chillin Tournament As The Competition Kicks Off In Jos

With the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting the calendar year of Sporting activities in 2020, the organizers of the annual Jos Chillin Football Competition has squeezed in the event for this year after the Presidential task Force on the Pandemic relaxed the ban on Sporting activities by opening up football and contact sports in the country.

The competition which started in the fall of 2016, will be in its fourth year and will feature categories for U10, U13, and U15. Jos Chillin Limited, who are the organizers of the competition will be dolling out mouthwatering prizes for the winners of the competition, ranging from medals to cash prizes.

Mees Palace Football Academy (MPFA), who made a clean sweep of all the categories last year will be looking to defend the title they won last year, as they have entered all categories of the competition this year. For the first time in the history of the competition, there will be invited teams from Niger, Benue, and Gombe state, as they have all entered the competition.

MPFA will trade tackles with Star Boys, Kuru Young stars, and Spatern FA in the U15 category while they will be hoping to top the group that has Clapai FA, Junior Sporting Boys, Liverpool, and Ceemonie Football Academy in the U13 category.

Organizers of the competition hope to continually grow the image of the competition by giving youths around the country opportunities to harness their talents in football using the Jos Chillin Football platform.
