This event drew in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from a multitude of business sectors across Lagos State, and it was met with great enthusiasm from participants and attendees alike.
CEO of Marvgallup Group, Nkechinyere Nweze, was visibly elated by the overwhelming response to the event.
In her address, Nkechi expressed her heartfelt gratitude, stating, “I am extremely overwhelmed seeing this. This is our first edition of the MCF fair and fest.
It just started as a dream, a conversation and I am here seeing it coming to life. I am overwhelmed.” She extended her thanks to her dedicated team and sponsors who believed in her dream, making it a reality.
Over 800 applications were received from eager vendors, and the event, initially planning to accommodate 100 businesses, expanded to host 162 SMEs, underscoring Marvgallup’s commitment to supporting these enterprises in challenging economic times.
The MCF Fair and Fest was uniquely designed to offer a platform for SMEs to showcase and promote their businesses, and this was provided to vendors entirely free of charge. Moreover, the event was not just about business. It also incorporated an element of fun and entertainment.
Renowned host Hero Daniels ensured the fest section was lively, featuring guest artists such as Blaqbonez, Chinko Ekun, Crayon, and former BBN housemate Cee-c.
The musical atmosphere was skillfully curated by DJs BB, Krizee, and Nana, ensuring a vibrant, music-filled atmosphere.
The event attendees had the opportunity to win various prizes, from recharge cards to raffle draw prizes, generously offered by sponsors. Children also had a dedicated space, the Kiddie’s Corner, complete with games and activities to keep them engaged and entertained throughout the day.
One of the day’s highlights was the presentation of an all-expenses-paid trip to a lucky raffle draw winner, graciously provided by Marvgallup Travel and Tours.
It was a testament to Marvgallup’s multi-faceted nature, encompassing Margallup Travel and Tours, Marvgallup Hospitality, Marvgallup Charity Foundation, and several other subsidiaries.
The success of the MCF Fair and Fest is a testament to the power of vision and community support, with the potential to grow into an enduring showcase for SMEs in Lagos and beyond.
