Mbaoma in emotional farewell to Akwa United

After returning to Remo Stars for the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, striker Victor Mbaoma has sent an emotional farewell to Akwa United.

The sharp shooter spent the 2017/18 campaign at Akwa United from his parent club Remo Stars.

He shared fond memories at the Uyo based outfit and took to the Social Media to show gratitude to the Akwa United family.

“Great memory in Uyo with #Akwa United Chairman Paul Bassey, a God fearing leader with zeal of success,” Mbaoma wrote.

“He taught me so much about discipline and God.

The attacker went ahead to praise the impacts of coach Abdu Maikaba and Aliyu Zubair who have both left for Plateau Uniued and Wikki Tourists respectively.

“Abdu Maikaba, gentle and kind hearted man I call him father.”

“Coach Aliyu, strong and loving.”

“All coaching crew, management, my great teammates and the wonderful football lovers of Uyo. Thanks four your love.”

Mbaoma scored one goal for Remo Stars at the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 in Aba.
