The Oyo State Government on Wednesday urged Corp members serving in the State to embark on various programs and initiative that will develop their potentials for future benefits, and also boost the socio-economy of the State in particular and the Nation at Large.
The State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr Seun Fakorede disclosed this, while presenting his remarks at a Day program organised in his honour by the Youth Corp members serving under Oyo State House of Assembly, held at the State House of Chiefs, Secretariat Ibadan.
According to the commissioner, he stressed that Youths should make good use of the smartphones on self-development that can save them from the menace of unemployment and not only on luxury.
He stressed further on the need for Corp members to be motivated, focused and have adequate plans for Labour Market during their service years, so as to encourage professionalism and standardisation in all areas of lives.
The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, The Deputy Speaker Hon. Abiodun Fadeyi, The State Chiefs of Staff, Chief Bisi Ilaka, Agba Akin Olubadan, of Ibadanland, Chief Lekan Alabi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youths and Sports among others are the dignitaries that grace the occasion.
