The in-house football competition was filled with so much fun and exciting moment as Arsenal FC fell to the Rest of the world, while Manchester United defeated Chelsea at the white dove school football pitch, Sangotedo Ajah Lagos state.

The fans of both international premiership sides were seeing jubilating as their clubs battled hard to qualify for the final of the ongoing 2022 FIRM FC TOURNAMENT.

The weather condition was cloudy as it began to rain some minutes the kick-off whistle was blown by the referee as both sides had a match inside the shower from above.

The anxiety was high as everyone on the pitch expected an early goal from the first half of play but assertions went wrong as the first half ended in a 0-0 goalless draw despite the head to head hit.

The second half rolled in with much anticipation from both club sides to conceive an opening goal. But as usual, the football they say is a game of luck. This time around luck was against Arsenal FC as the ball was booted inside the back of the net giving the Rest of the world a 1-0 clean sheet victory in securing their spot for the final place.

In an exclusive interview with Sport Sport247, coach Godson Albanum said;

” It was a good game, arsenal is a nice opponent, they also have good players and a good attacking side. It was a nice game.”

” But as you can see we actually came on top because we have our game plan intact and the planning worked for us, he added”

“The final, against Manchester United is a different game entirely so it’s going to be in a different dimension, we will improve on what we have done today and I believe that we can win. He concluded with a smile”

Would the Albanum players be able to improve and use the game plan that gave them a clean sheet victory against Arsenal for their final match encounter? The question remains unsolved as we look forward to the final matchday ahead.
