Following their resumption to camp after the Christmas and New Year break, the management of Buruj Sports Academy has announced that about eight new players comprising of 2 Goalkeepers, 2 Central Defenders, 1left back, 1 midfielder and 2 strikers will be considered for registration for their upcoming international outings.
Top on the list of the international tourneys billed to be attended by the Ikorodu-based academy this year are Manchester Cup and Spanish Cup and the CEO of the current champions of English Super Cup, Salaudeen Waheed, has expressed his readiness to selected young and talented players who may come forward on time to register for exposure to international scouts and football agents in those competitions.
Interested members of the public who are determined to sponsor their children to reach their full potential in the beautiful game of football are therefore implored to visit the academy’s office at No. 8, Adeniran Oshodi Street, Ogolonto Bus Stop, Ikorodu for enquiries and negotiations.
Buruj Sports Academy are the current champions of the English Super Cup held in Manchester last year where they won two titles, while some of the players like Noah Salaudeen and Akuba Ignatius attracted the fancy of some English club.
Selection of players will be based on first come, first served process while friendly games will be played to ascertain the quality and readiness of the players both old and new.
