Captain of Magboro Football Club, Victor Kadiri has shown interest in playing for Shooting Stars FC popularly known as 3SC or Bendel Insurance next season.
Kadiri while chatting with Sports247 disclosed that having gone for trials in Mauritius and NAF FC of Abuja in the past, he is poised to fight for a shirt if the two clubs invite him for trials.
“My game has been improved since I joined Magboro FC and I love 3SC and Insurance and if any of them call me for trials, I would be happy because I am nursing to play for the clubs someday, “said Ikhana who plays for midfield in Magboro FC.
Asked if he had done trials with 3SC before, the Edo-born player said he was given an opportunity to do trials with 3SC two years ago in Ibadan but was dropped from the 40-man list.
“Of course, I was invited to the club in Ibadan. I gave all my best unfortunately I was dropped from the team. Why I was dropped I cannot explain but if I have the opportunity to be invited again, I think my game is more mature and I am ready to deliver,” he said.
Commenting on their current position in the Ikeja championship league, Kadiri boasted that his team are in good form and they are determined to promote to the Ikeja Super league.
“We are doing well and leading our group in the league. The secret of the team’s success is the unity and discipline among the players so we are equal to the task and ready to feature in Ikeja super league next season,” he added.
