The general manager of Magate FC, Comrade Owolabi Aleshinloye in an exclusive interview with sports247.ng has said that the NFF has done well in making sure that NLO teams are captured in the FIFA et CAF incentive that will be shared to all even though the amount when shared among the 308 clubs is not up to what the clubs used in registering for participation in the league but the little token will cushion off some expenditure in a way.
Owolabi admitted to the proposed plan on sharing the incentive as visible and transparent enough if the bodies in charge indeed follow the procedures.
While explaining the issue of the FIFA TMS (Transfer matching system) registration, he said, “Up to date, there is no circular from the NLO secretariat or NFF concerning the issue of TSM and knowing fully well that player capturing is now very important as stated by FIFA in the transfer of players.”
In his words, his team is still waiting for the circular on the commencement of TSM registration.
Although the NLO didn’t witness any game last season, Owolabi confessed that it’s nobody faults due to the pandemic which took all by surprise without remedy, but he’s optimist that the new season will kick off on time once football is given the go ahead by the various concerned authority.
