Madu Tasks Heartland Players In Goals Scoring

Heartland of Owerri coach, Ramson Madu has charged his players to ensure they convert little chances that come their way, as he believes they should have scored more against Akwa United.

While also confirming that a new foreign technical adviser will arrive for Heartland this week, sports247.ng reports that Madu acknowledged that The Naze Millionaires are work in progress for now and believes they will be ready before the season starts next month.

He, however, expressed hope that the team will get better as the days go by, and urged their fans to keep faith with the players and crew, in order to accord them enough encouragement to prepare for a better season.

Madu said: “This is just the beginning. We’ve seen our lapses and would work on them ahead of the other games we have. We thank all those who turned out to support the team.”
