The European based returnee, Ibrahim Afolabi Oseni has returned to his childhood club, Flexy Football Academy of Isheri Ojodu Berger saying that he is ready to play for the club ahead of Ikeja Super League.
Oseni who announced his arrival to the club recently told the management headed by Washington Egor popularly known as Black Mourinho that his coming back home is to assist the club in its campaign for Ikeja Super League.
“I have been in many clubs in Spain and Ukraine for trials and i am back home for one reason or the other.I would soon go back but while i am in the country, i want to train with my childhood club and help them in Ikeja Super League.
“Aside playing for Ikeja Super League, i also want the players to tap from my experience i garnered from Europe and i am happy to see my colleagues in the club and promise to give the club all my support in the league,”he said.
Responding, the chairman who doubles as coach of the club, Egor expressed delight to see his former player back home and noted that his presence in the club would motivate the other players to do well in the league.
“We welcome our former player, Oseni back to the club.Oseni went to Europe for trials and he is back home for short time before he goes back.He has told the management we should register him for the league and we have registered him and it is a good omen for the club because players would learn one or two things from him during his stay in the club,”he said.
Oseni who is a midfielder went for trials in Levante, Leganes and Sabadell FC based in Spain, while the Nigerian born player and former player of Barca Football Academy of Lagos also went to Ukraine to do trials with Dnipro FC.
Egor describes Oseni a committed player who always hungry for success.He maintained that his presence in the team would be a threat to other clubs in their group.
He however enjoined the players and coaching crew to give him support throughout his stay with the club before he returns to Europe .
