Ahead of the yearly London – Manchester Cup, Buruj Football Academy are getting underway in thier preparations for the upcoming Queensland competition as the boys reels in confidence for the prestigious outing.
The renowned football academy which also operates as a club recorded massive quantum leaps just recently following Spanish side CD Leganese FC signature of three of it’s players with the duo of Edet Inyang, Chinoso Sunday getting call ups to the U-20 National team simultaneously.
Preparations and registrations are ongoing for the next outing in the queensland to partake in the London Cup which is scheduled to hold between 28th – 30th July 2023 and English Super Cup between 3rd – 6th August 2023.
The players had an outstanding performances as witnessed in recent friendly matches and during the last season of the Nationwide League One matches proving their doggedness, attentiveness to instruction given by the coaches, dedicated to their trainings and strive to always be at their best at all times.
In quest to provide a team that is far better than the previous teams that have participated till date. The technical department are leaving no stone unturned as the performance level of new and returning players generate confidence with no limits to what they tend to achieve in the queensland.
The CEO Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj further urged the players to keep up the good work, maintain their fitness level at all times, deviate from act that can affect their games i.e regular intake of sugary stuffs, lateness to bed, proper diets, amongst other good ethics to be kept by a player.
Above all they should strengthen the unity that exists between them and always maintain good spirit. With all this in place the sky is just the starting point to greater feats.
