London- based football consultancy firm, Eden Sports, has revealed plans to help the development and growth of African football talents.
A report per goal.com, has it that the football company which recently entered into a partnership with Ugandan entrepreneur Marvin Lwasa, for the development of Ugandan football talents, is also working towards a total development of talents across Africa.
According to Jordan Wise, the founder of Eden Sports, which specializes in talent procurement, sports investment and premier league commercial partnerships, the company aims to provide identified players aged 17-21 with elite coaching and training facilities in Europe, while also giving the talents the opportunities to showcase their game on the world stage.
” We have always been deeply passionate about Africa and empowering the next generation,” Wise said.
” I believe that we can inspire and develop role models and future leaders of tomorrow. Players of African origin dominate the game across the world’s five top leagues, ” he added.
Speaking on the development, Canadian- Nigerian world renowned sports consultant and business partner to Eden Sports, Chinedu Amadi, described the initiatives as the way forward for the development and growth of African football.
” Jordan Wise is one of the most respected FIFA Licensed intermediary in the United Kingdom. He really has passion for propelling football and players development in Africa.
” He has started the project in Uganda and as he plans to move to West Africa, I have told him, he must start in Nigeria. Therefore, my company is partnering with him, alongside some forward thinking African entrepreneurs to propel development and seamless transfers of players from Africa,” Amadi, who is the Executive Vice-President of the world famous Landmark Sports and Entertainment Promotions Limited, disclosed.
Speaking further, he revealed that Eden Sports are in the final stages of purchasing football clubs in Scandinavia and Portugal, where there are a more lenient non- EU player immigration policies.
