Kwara United top player Junior Lokosa has reportedly signed a two year deal with South-African outfit, Supersports united. Following the success of compatriots Daniel Akpeyi and Olisa Nda in the PSL,
Lokosa is expected to add spice to the line up of Super Sports United. The player is currently playing for his Nigerian club side after he made a comeback from Simba Sports Club, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The Badagry born is seen as a potential strengthening for the club as top players are reportedly making thier way out of the club. Seen as a highly rated player, Lokosa was a one-time Nigerian Professional Football League highest goal scorer.
Though not yet announced by Supper Sports until the end of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League, Junior Lokosa is still on the payroll and lineup of Kwara United as he scored last Saturday in the Ilorin based team’s 1-0 victory over Sunshine Stars of Akure.
Lokosa started his career in Nigeria with Firstbank in 2013 and stayed up untill 2018 when he made a move to Kano Pillars. He made 35 appearances for the club and scored 26 goals, all in a single season. He signed for ES Tunis and played for one season after which he made his way to Simba Sports Club.
