A strong indication has emerged that Kano Pillars striker, Junior Lokosa might appears for Nigeria’s beach soccer national team, Super Sand Eagles at the forthcoming continental championship in Egypt.
This much was made known to sports247.ng by Sand Eagles’ coach, Audu Adamu (Ejo), who said Lokosa is on his list of standby players to be invited for camp for preparations towards next month’s contest.
Though the former First Bank FC of Lagos striker has already played for the main Super Eagles and is recently back from trials in China, ‘Ejo’ enthused that Lokosa will quickly blend into his pattern.
Adamu enthused: “I am sure Lokosa will blend into our team for the African Beach Soccer Championship in Egypt.
“He will only need only three days of training to adjust, having being part of the team in the past and he is a professional footballer, who should be able to play under any circumstances and in various tactics.
“All the same, Lokosa has assured me that he will honour my invitation and he is ready to participate in the team, if he is not out of the country.”
