LOBI STARS LAY AMBUSH TO GO FOR THE KILL AGAINST ABIA WARRIORS IN MAKURDI

This evening 4PM, 15th December, 2019 in a rearranged NPFL fixture Match No 75, Day 8 earlier billed for 11th December, 2019, Lobi Stars will take on visiting Abia Warriors inside The Main Bowl of The Aper Aku Stadium MAKURDI.

Lobi Stars of late have turned Aper Aku Stadium into an arena of goal harvest having scored 7 goals in 2 games with a 5
game run without conceding a goal and still looking good, the outcome of the game is predictably a going concern as the result will not be any different.

The pride of Benue having survived threat and intimidation in Warri last week to end goalless will multiply their angst and unleash their scoring wizardry against Abia Warriors this evening. Abia Warriors have been a low scoring side with only 5 goals to their credit in 7 games, having ran their last two games winless, though with a tricky 0-0 away draw against Rivers United a fortnight ago will hope to give a fight to earn a similar result, unfortunately in the hands of an unfavorable opposition will be facing an impossible task in Makurdi.

With Governor Samuel Ortom matching his words with actions, The fully motivated lobi Stars are set and match ready to continue turning out impressive results in order to be in the continent next season.

Lobi Stars now has 11 points in their kitty and only 3 points behind the league leaders with an outstanding home game against Rangers Int’l already counted as 3 points to take over the lead. With Goal keeper Emmanuel Daniel leading the clean sheet record in The NPFL 2019/2020, all indices points out to a successful end to send Abia Warriors back empty handed.

The Executive Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars FC Mr Mike Idoko Okpe called on the players and technical department to keep up the spirit and not allow their recent good run in the league in their heads but give back to The Governor more better results as a mark of appreciation. He further reminded all supporters and well wishers to continue in prayers as prayers have proven to be a virile tool for the success of the club.
