Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lobi Stars Football Club, Dominic Iorfa earlier briefed journalists at Mccarthy Stadium Clubhouse, in Makurdi, Benue State.

Mr Iorfa noted in his opening speech that, it has become pertinent to equip Lobi Supporters with the requisite information about the current state of the club, especially the success achieved in the just concluded 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League abridged season and the Federation Cup saying, the floor was opened for questions and answers.
The first and second speakers, Joseph Lumun and Jeniffer Ver of the Nation’s Newspaper and the Voice Newspaper sought to know the current position of the club, while Social Media activist, James Terna seek more clarification on the preparations for Super Six.
Responding to the first and second questions, the VC/CEO said, Lobi Stars ended in the second position at the end of the group B matches and has further qualified for the NPFL Super 6 coming up this weekend in Lagos.
According to the football administrator, the initial plan was for the Club to maintain in the elite league, however, with hard work and the needed zeal, the club ended up in a decent position that has guaranteed them a playoff ticket.

While commenting on the Federation Cup journey, Mr. Iorfa noted that for the past 7 years, Lobi Stars failed to pull through beyond the round of 16, until his advent that the club has broken the jinx and reached the quarter-finals of the Federation Cup twice.
He assured Lobi Stars supporters of optimal performance in the Super 6 tourney as he is determined to secure a continental football for the fans.
