Before, Brown Ideye is a free agent who can move to any club at any time and he was seen recently in Porthatcourt trianing with Rivers United.
The capturing of his signature by Enyimba FC ends long trem speculations surrounding his returns to the Nigeria elite football league.
Enyimba will be looking forward to solving their goal scoring issues with the experienced striker as Enyimba have managed to score in just a match out of four played in this CAF Confederations Cup stretching back to the preliminary rounds.
The 36 years old is eligible to be registered into the Enyimba squad in the CAF Confederations Cup squad in the January window as approved by CAF.
The window allowed seven new players to be added and four old players could be replaced.
Enyimba FC are currently on the bottom of the log in their group with just a point in possible six.
Brown Ideye is available for selection as Enyimba faces Nasarawa United next week Tuesday in the NPFL, as he makes a return to the league after 17 years.
He last played for Ocean Boys in the 2000/2007 NPFL season before moving to Europe after 2007 FIFA U20 World Cup in Canada.
