Ahead of sunday’s Nigeria National League (NNL) 19/20 Match Day Four encounter against FC Nilayo in Abeokuta, Team Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Dimeji Lawal, wants the players to go for another victory.
The Oluyole Warriors go into the contest against the new comers to the Nigerian league scene with a hundred percent record, having won all previous three matches, including an away fixture against Abia Comets.
Addressing the players after their final training, preparatory to the match, Kabongo as the ex International is populalrly known, said the good people of Oyo state, the management and other well meaning lovers of the club , are looking forward to yet another victorious outing.
“Guys, we are playing in Abeokuta and our target is another victory. We did it against Abia Comets in Aba, now we are up against FC Nilayo, I want you to go in there, let them know that our successes so far are no flukes.
“I believe so much in you and like every other supporter and fan of this club, I am expecting nothing else but the maximum three points in today’s game,”” the ex International stated.
He charged those who made the 18 man, Match Day Four squad to justify their inclusion in the team, stressing the importance of the three points in today’s game, which he said will further define the promotion aspiration of the team.
