Leon Balogun In Line For Return To EPL Action

Brighton & Hove Albion of England defender, Leon Aderemi Balogun is line for a return to action in the English Premier League this weekend, following his return to training with The Seagulls.

Sports247.ng reports that Balogun had been out since February with a shoulder complaint, but he has eventually brushed off the pain and is looking good to get a shirt against Crystal Palace.

This much has been disclosed by Brighton manager, Chris Hughton, who said the ex-Fortuna Dusseldorf, Darmstadt and SV Mainz of Germany stopper has resumed full training with his teammates.

However, Balogun may not go into The Seagulls’ starting line-up, as he has not played since he played all 90 minutes against West Bromwich Albion in an English FA Cup fourth-round replay on February 6.
Nonetheless, Hughton is sounding optimistic for the injury-prone Super Eagles star being part of the trip to Crystal Palace, as he retorted: “Leon Balogun is now back in training.”
