Italian Serie A side SS Lazio has officially confirmed the acquisition of 23-year-old midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.

The Nigerian international joins the club on an initial season-long loan from Turkish Super Lig team Hatayspor, with an option to make the move permanent based on certain sporting conditions.
Dele-Bashiru, who impressed last season with 9 goals and 4 assists for Hatayspor, will bolster Lazio’s midfield.
The deal involves an initial loan fee of approximately €2 million, and Lazio will be obliged to pay an additional €4 million to secure his permanent transfer. Notably, Dele-Bashiru began his career in England’s youth academy system, having been associated with Manchester City and later Sheffield Wednesday before moving to Turkey as a free agent.
