The newly appointed Executive Members of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) today visited St. Agnes primary school in Maryland, Lagos as part of her resumption activities.
The Board led by its Executive Chairman Hon. Wahab Alawiye-King inspired the student, encouraged them to focus on their education and promised that the board will promote effective teaching and learning environment.
While addressing officials of SUBEB, Local Government Education Secretaries, NUT, the Chairman urged them to always remember the new Mantra of the Board to LEAVE NO CHILD BEHIND and promised the cooperation of the board in the improvement of their welfare. “We are starting our tenure by seeking your cooperation and support, we will also give you the necessary support and resources to fulfil your assignment.
The board members toured the facility of SUBEB Headquarters and assured all staff that it’s a new era in SUBEB.
A member of the Board Hon. Bayo Adefuye in his brief remark assured that the Board will make efforts to improve the learning experience of the students. Where they learn, how they learn, and what they learn’.
Another Board member, Hon Dayo Israel while addressing the staff said: “Our Interest is in taking Lagos Education to a greater height and we will not fail by the grace of God”.
The elated audience showered praises on the Chairman and members as well as wish them successful tenure.
