The last batch of the Team Nigeria to the Tokyo Paralympics departed the shores of Nigeria Sunday, via an Ethiopian Airline. The Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria was at the airport to receive the Nigerian Delegations.
The Nigerian Delegations was led by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Nebolisa Abako. Among other notable dignitaries in the last batch to Tokyo, were Media Aide to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr. Kọla Daniel Adeyanju, SA Projects Architect Biodun Owoborode, the General Manager of NTA Mr. Fẹmi Johnson, and a host of others.
The Paralympics will commence on Thursday, 26th August 2021.
It would be recalled, that in the last edition of Paralympics, Team Nigeria hauled 12 medals. The Team is now hopeful to surpass the last record.
