Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) Captain, Saheed Lasisi has made it known that he would lead the team to victory as the 2019/20 Nigeria National League (NNL) commences on Sunday.
The Sky Blue Stars will play host to Enugu State, Lamray United FC in Matchday one of the NNL Season that will take place at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu by 4 pm.
In a chat with RSFC Press, Lasisi says he is once again delighted to be the team captain, and he is quite thankful to the Coach and Management of Remo Stars Football Club for the opportunity.
“I am once again very grateful to the Coach and Management of the club for deeming it fit to name me the captain of the team, and I am using this opportunity to assure them that I won’t fail them in my line of responsibility.”
“They have been supporting us before now, and I plead with them to keep supporting us, we have made up our minds as players to make the club proud and great again.”
“The victory of the club is my priority now, I will do everything to lead the team to victory in all our games because the top is where we belong. A return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) is our target, and we are very certain of attaining that feat again,” Saheed Lasisi added.
