Korea-based Nigerian striker, Kehinde Lanre, was full of optimism to lift his Korea Premier League club, Incheon FC, as the season resumed after a forced break due to the Coronavirus lockdown across the world.
Lanre, who is working very hard to earn a national team invitation in Nigeria, was very brilliant in the Incheon FC attack, and also regularly falling to the middle of the pack helping out in the club’s defence from the midfield, as the fixture against Daegu FC ended in a goalless draw at the home ground of Incheon, the Sungui Arena Park, Incheon.
The Nigerian top striker, who scored Incheon United’s winning goal against Sangju Sangmu FC in the team’s last league game on November 24, 2019, the last day before the K-League forced postponement, noted that, his target for the new season, is to help the team to be in a better position on the league table than ever before, and also continue to score valuable goals.
He has promised to improve his game and go for more goals in the next away fixture of the club against Seongnam FC on May 17, and double home games against Pohang Steelers Fc on 31st May and Gangwon Fc on June 6, 2020, where he would used as the opportunity to increase his total goals scored and also to help Incheon United finish in top three position of the season and better still win the league title.
