In a post-match interview following Mavlon FC’s loss to Dino SC in the Lagos Supremacy Cup final, head coach Sowole Muyiwa shared his thoughts on the challenging journey and the commendable organization of the tournament, Sports247.

Expressing his feelings about the match, Muyiwa said, “The match is good, it is a tough match. Right from the start of the competition, we have been giving our best till the final. It was a good organization, it was fine, and at the same time, it was tough.”
The coach revealed the team’s aspiration to win the tournament and showcase the best of their quality. Despite the final outcome, Muyiwa acknowledged the unpredictable nature of football, saying, “We have a mind of winning the tournament and showcasing the best of our team quality, which we have done a lot from the beginning to now, but this is football, anything can happen, so it’s okay.”
