Foreign scouts commended and praised the Ikeja-based club’s performance and presented coach Agboola with an award for excellence and distinction after a thrilling match on the first day of the Lagos Supremacy Cup.
The Match took place this morning at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly Onikan Stadium.
Coach Kayode Agboola of the Dosu Joseph Football Club, a Lagos NLO team, responded to his team’s 1-1 draw with Ikorodu City.

Agboola told our correspondent that while his team had a strong start, they had wasted several scoring opportunities that could have led to victory.
While acknowledging that both sides performed admirably, he maintained that his squad should have won the match.
But he also gave his boys plaudits for a job well done and tasked them with winning their next game.

“We had a good start because everyone thought we would lose to Ikorodu City, but we are grateful to God that my boys silenced their doubters.
“I also want to thank my boys for winning the game despite falling behind. This is to inform you that this scouting football competition is not a jamboree, but rather a business,” he stated.
Olowu Seun, meanwhile, overcame a goal disadvantage in the final minute to give Dosu Joseph Football Club cause for celebration.
In previous games, Dino was defeated 2-1 by Tripple 44, who played 2-2 with Imperial Mavlon FC.
