As all stage is set for a total lock down in major cities in Nigeria, the Lagos State Handball Association LSHA have taken a humanitarian step to distribute food items to her under aged players.
This is done to lessen the burden of the impending lock down in major cities in the country.
Chairman of the LSHA, Adeola Opeifa, together with members of the association, yesterday 30th March, finds it necessary to extend this kind gesture to the young talents who have made Lagos State smile in recent outings on behalf of the association.
He also urged the players at the LSHA state secretariat to stay safe at this period and should maintain proper hygiene in the next two weeks in order not to contract the deadly virus.
The lock down in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun kicks in at 11pm on Monday and it’s expected to last for at least, two weeks as announced by President Mohammadu Buhari on Sunday.
The lock down is geared towards cubbing the wide spread of the covid19 which has already infected about 131 people and has caused 2 death so far in Nigeria.
