The Lagos State Sports Commission triumphed in a Tug O’ War event, celebrating Speaker Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa’s 51st Birthday.
This was in a thrilling culmination of the 2023 Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker’s Game.

The Sports Commission Team showcased remarkable dominance throughout the competition.
In the semi-finals, they secured a decisive 2-0 victory against the Education Team, setting the stage for an intense final showdown against LAG FERRY.
The final match, witnessed by Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, members of the state House of Assembly, and dignitaries, ende, with the Sports Commission Team triumphing 2-1 against LAGFERRY to claim the championship.
The Director General, Oluwatoyin Gafaar, praised the Sports Commission Team for their perseverance, prowess, and commitment to fitness and health improvement.

He remarked, “They are in sports. Sports is in them. They are keeping fit, and it is a good direction that they are moving.”
