Lagos Footballer Philip Divine Samuel Enadeghe to Lead U-18 Team at BAT-SWAGA Games

Young Lagos footballer Philip Divine Samuel Enadeghe is poised to represent Lagos State at the upcoming National Sports Festival (NSF) in Ogun State this May. Enadeghe, who previously showcased his talent at the National Youth U-15 Games, is determined to make a significant impact on this larger stage.

During the NSF qualifiers, Enadeghe demonstrated leadership both on and off the pitch, contributing two assists that were instrumental in securing the team’s advancement. His performance has earned him the captaincy of the U18 Team Lagos for the BAT-SWAGA South West Games, set to commence tomorrow at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.

Enadeghe is currently honing his skills with Femrich Football Academy under the development program in collaboration with Liqui Moly FA. Reflecting on his journey, he credits key figures for their support:

“Uncle Femi Edokpai, the owner of Femrich Football Academy Limited, has financially and morally supported me till date. He took me to Liqui Moly FA, the Champions of Lagos NLO 2 Centre, for further development.

My family has also played a huge role in my progress. Credit should also be given to Coach Uche, who has toughened me and given me the confidence to play against players much older than me.”

As Enadeghe prepares for the challenges ahead, he remains focused on his goals:

“My goal is to go out there, help my teammates, listen to my coaches, and, at the end of the day, be crowned champions. Watch out for us!”

His dedication and leadership are expected to be showcased in the BAT-SWAGA South-West Games and also a valuable asset to Team Lagos in their quest for success at the National Sports Festival.
