Lagos FA Revives Beach Soccer, Sets Up New Association

Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) is taking bold steps to restore its dominance in beach soccer. On Saturday, at the FA Secretariat in Surulere, Chairman Hajji Gafar Liameed inaugurated the Lagos State Beach Soccer Association (LSBSA) to spearhead the revival of the sport.

Renowned football administrator Chief Godson Uti will lead the association as chairman. Expressing his enthusiasm, Chief Uti described the initiative as long overdue, emphasizing Lagos’ historical role as the heart of beach soccer in Nigeria. He pledged to work tirelessly to bring the sport back to prominence in the state.

The LSBSA also includes Mojeed Adegbidin, Jelili Ogunmuyiwa, Bayo Akande, Shade Johnson, and Vianney Rotimi as members.
