The LAB Memorial Football Carnival saw, Alimosho FC made a strong statement with a resounding 3-0 victory over Ultimate FC.
The team’s captain, Ibe David, was the star of the match, scoring two of the three goals.

David expressed his delight at his performance, stating, “It’s incredible. I knew I was going to score, but I did not expect it to be a brace. But I thank God. I thank God for everything.” His brace could have been a hat trick, but he missed two other potential goals. However, David took it in stride, viewing it as a learning opportunity. “It is always a learning point, I will learn from it and I’ll come back in the next game and perfect my skill,” he said.
Looking forward, David has high expectations for Alimosho FC in the LAB Memorial football competition this year. He confidently stated, “We are coming hot. You guys will not expect what we are doing but Alimosho FC we are coming in hot.”
With such a strong start and a determined captain at the helm, Alimosho FC is certainly a team to watch in this year’s LAB Memorial Football competition.
