In its bid to further strengthen and reinforce the Kwara Volleyball team, the state coach, Wale Gbadamosi has discovered a new player.
Gbadamosi told newsmen in Ilorin on Thursday that he had intensified his efforts of scouting and discovery of new talented players with absolute interest in the game.
According to him, the latest discovery is Deborah Olatunde, an Ordinary National Diploma (OND 2) Accounting student of the Kwara State Polytechnic.
Gbadamosi said Olatunde was discovered about two weeks ago when the young promising star came to watch an inter House Sports competition at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
He explained that he approached the young lady and interviewed her to know if she really has interest in the game of volleyball and that the lady did not hesitate to give her consent.
The coach explained that his desire to approach the lady was her height and stature which was one of the prequsites to consider, while scouting for talents.
