Kwara United management and players on Friday afternoon paid a condolence visit to the family of goalkeeper Lateef Ishola over the death of their father.
Lateef Ishola’s dad kissed the world goodbye on Wednesday in Oke Oyi after brief illness which he failed to recover from.
The demise of Late Rauf Ishola came as a shock for goalkeeper Lateef considering how his late dad prayed for him before he went to the pitch against Plateau United not knowing that his father only sent him farewell message.
Led by the active chairman of the club Kumbi Titiloye, GM, Bashir Badawiy, Secretary Hamidu Olowo, and board member Pharmacist Lanre Alege, Kwara United prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
“Your son has been our good ambassador and we are here to console you for your lost as we pray that God in his infinite mercy will be with your family,” Pharmacist Lanre Alege spoke to the family of Ishola on behalf of Kwara United.
The widow of the diseased while responding in tears thanked the management of Kwara United and players for the visit and prayed that the club will not go down this season.
“Thank you so much for your visit, and I want to pray that Kwara United will not fall In Sha Allah,” Lateef Ishola’s mother stated.
Meanwhile, Kwara United will not be playing this weekend since the League has been put on hold following the outbreak of deadly coronavirus which has been threatening all humans on earth.
