The management, players and all the entire staffs of Kwara United have commiserated with Enugu Rangers over the shocking death of their player Ifeanyi George.
Football fraternities in Nigeria were all thrown into serious mourning on Sunday following the untimely death of George.
George was traveling to see his family after the club gave all the players a one week break due to the outbreak of deadly coronavirus.
The heartbreaking accident happened along Benin Road which claimed the life of George throwing his family, friends and football followers into total sadness.
“We want to commiserate with all the people and players at Rangers over their lost and we pray that God should give the family of George the fortitude to bear the loss.
“It is so sad hearing this type of news and we share in your pains because we are in the same brotherhood. Please accept our condolence,” Kwara United explained in a statement.
Meanwhile, Enugu Rangers are occupying fifth position on the NPFL standings with the hopes of making the top four at the end of the season.
